Carmen Lim, M.D.
Dr. Lim was born and raised in Malaysia. She received her medical training from Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS., Canada. She subsequently pursued Internal Medicine training at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA and completed her Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland, OR.
After completing her fellowship, she spent three years as an Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has a special interest in chronic liver diseases, inflammatory bowel disease and colon cancer screening.
Dr.Lim's husband is also a physician who practices in the Bay Area. She is also fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, cooking and photography.
