Do you sufffer from severe reflux or heartburn?
This study is exploring a new dosing for Aciphex 50mg ER and Nexium 40mg ER for patients with moderate to severe heartburn or acid reflux:
- 14 week study
- 2 week wash out
- 2 egds and a third egd if pt is not healed and week 4
- inclusion
- M/F 18/75
- History of gerd for at least 3 months
- Exclusion
- current or history of esophageal disorders (barrets,strictures, esophagitis)
- zollinger-ellison syndrome
- Gastric cancer
- IBD
