Endoscopic Ultrasound Case 3

A 56 year old female was found with a submucosal gastric lesion or “bump” on upper endoscopy concerning for tumor. Surface mucosal biopsies were not diagnostic and the lesion was too small to see on CT scan. Subsequent EUS exam showed a benign liver granuloma pushing against the stomach wall and causing a “bump”. She was relieved and no further work-up or treatment was necessary.
